Top Ten: The Bond Girls

The new James Bond film is officially out. Whilst many others are looking forward to seeing what Daniel Craig is up to, I'm more excited about the new Bond girls and their wardrobes.

Bond girls have a long-running tradition of being impeccably chic and well dressed (to kill - ha!). So why not see the best bits over the last five decades? (It must be noted that most Bond girls are tough to find wearing anything other than bikinis or lingerie).

#10: Claudine Auger in Thunderball (1965)
I actually haven't seen this film, but throughout my "research" of Bond girls, Domino's character had the coolest swimsuits. This one-piece she's wearing here, is perhaps one of the most awesome I've ever seen.

#9: Honor Blackman in Goldfinger (1964)
You must admit, anyone who's called Pussy Galore is obliged to have a crackin' wardrobe. If I were a femme fatale in the '60s, I would dress like Pussy (that's a weird sentence).

#8: Diana Rigg in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
I love a woman who can wear a massive fur coat and not look like a bear.

#7: Ursula Andress in Dr. No (1962)
Iconic. Enough said.

#6: Sophie Marceau in The World Is Not Enough (1999)
Elektra King always looks glamorous. Even when skiing. Love it, love all of it. I wish I could be the daughter of some oil-tycoon, just so I could wear everything she wears.

#5: Tanya Roberts in A View To A Kill (1985)
I adore this feminine and soft 80's look...

#4: Jane Seymour in Live And Let Die (1973)
...but not as much as I love this bohemian 70's look! You just know a psychic called Solitaire will look wickedly cool.

#3: Grace Jones in A View To A Kill (1985)
Hardly anything beats Grace Jones though! She created a whole new killer look. Love love love.

#2: Rosamund Pike in Die Another Day (2002)
Though I loved Halle Berry in this film, Miranda Frost was the one that left a lasting impression on me. It's that cold, uptight b*tch look that I love. Plus, anyone who can pull off wearing as much white as the Snow Queen is okay by me.

#1: Eva Green in Casino Royale (2006)
Nonetheless, the fairest of them all is, without a doubt, the incredible Vesper Lynd. I can't even mention the two fabulous dresses she wore during the casino scenes (the purple Roberto Cavalli one and the one above) without getting too excited. But even her "leisure" outfits are to die for (especially the red wrap-dress which she actually died in). Love it all too much!
