A Look in History: 26 Years Since Heathers

"Dear Diary, my teen-angst bullshit now has a body count."

Before there was Mean Girls (2004), there was Clueless (1995). Before there was Clueless, there was Heathers (1988). Before Heathers, there was nothing.

Well, nothing of this magnitude anyway.

There are so many things to love about this film. The style, the quotes, the dark humour... It's so great, in fact, that you manage to get over the fact that Winona Ryder's the main character.

Who could have known, back in the day, that an 80's teen flick would be so amazing?

On March 31st, 1988, the cult of what should be known as The Life and Struggles of a Popular High School Girl undoubtedly began. Let it forever reign.
